In the summer of 1999, Emma found our door with a litter of four kittens. She was pretty much a kitten herself at that time. We brought her and the kittens in and helped her feed them. We found all the kittens a home, and although we weren't planning on another cat, we couldn't resist Emma. Her favorite "hangout" spot is at the very top of our bedroom armoire where she keeps an eye on us and studies the antics of "those silly dogs".

Hula, the Quaker Parrot is the newest addition to our critter family. She spends the day in school being a classroom pet and comes home every afternoon to spend the evening with us and the rest of the menagerie. She's quite interested in the dogs and is developing sounds much like barks. She's proficient at whistling and blowing kisses. She now says "besitos", "hello", "I love you", "step-up", she rings the phone and laughs.
Southernmost The Wild (Samson - "Sam") is our new boy. He is a Ragdoll kitten that we have been blessed with thanks to our sister "Fred" and to her lovely Ragdoll girl Skye (Sunny Shores Blue Skye Daze). He's already settled in our home and has taken total control over the dogs!
