MADDIE'S 2005 WESTMINSTER ADVENTURE
See Maddie in action at the Westminster site!

First, the dreaded bath!

Then, a jog at the Spa

On to our favorite pastime,
the hotel lobby

On show day, a little bit of grooming...

And it's finally show time!

I love this show stuff!

I'm putting on the show for Mom & Dad,
and for the rest of this people too!

Yes, there's only one Westminster...

And only one Maddie -- and she was there!

Just three weeks before becoming a grandmother, Maddie struts her stuff in the Veterans ring at the
Jupiter-Tequesta Dog Club show on Saturday and Sunday, July 13th & 14th.
She was Best Labrador Veteran both days and took a Veteran Group One Saturday and a Veteran Group Two Sunday.
The judge awarding her the Group One Saturday, Dr. Bob G. Smith, commented on Maddie's beauty and impressive style
and said he would have loved to have seen her in the regular Sporting Group as well!
Maddie, however, was well represented on Sunday's Sporting Group by her son, Mr. Big, CH Rosewater New Yorker, who closed out the Florida summer show season by taking Best of Breed under Mrs. Lee Canalizo.
Like fine wine, Maddie only gets better with age and her sons have made their mark already.

THREE BEAUTIFUL GENERATIONS

What an awesome weekend for Maddie and her legacy at the Jupiter-Tequesta Kennel Club show!
Maddie was Best of Breed Veteran on Saturday and Sunday and during the Veteran Group competition
held Saturday only, she took a Group 2. Maddie received a standing ovation during the Veteran classes.
Both the Saturday and Sunday judges, Mr. Douglas A. Johnson and Mr. Joseph E. Gregory expressed
that Maddie should be competing in more than just the Veteran's classes.
Maddie, however, has chosen to share the limelight with her kids and grandkids.
She is pictured here with her son, Mr. Big (CH Rosewater New Yorker), the Best of Breed winner
and with her granddaughter Lulu (Rosewater Tropicana), the 9-12 puppy class winner.

FORERVER YOUNG
by Rod Stewart

May the good Lord be with you
Down every road you roam
And may sunshine and happiness
surround you when you're far from home
And may you grow to be proud
Dignified and true
And do unto others
As you'd have done to you
Be courageous and be brave
And in my heart you'll always stay
Forever young

May good fortune be with you
May your guiding light be strong
Build a stairway to heaven
with a prince or a vagabond

And may you never love in vain
and in my heart you will remain
Forever young

And when you finally fly away
I'll be hoping that I served you well
For all the wisdom of a lifetime
No one can ever tell

But whatever road you choose
I'm right behind you win or lose
Forever young
